Buck & Doe’s is proud to offer in-store hot stamping and monogramming on all Jon Hart products. Whether you’re creating a one-of-a-kind gift or adding your own personal touch, each personalization is completed by hand at Buck & Doe’s in San Antonio.

Hot Stamping & Monogramming

Jon Hart products may be personalized for an additional $12 per item.

Personalization is pressed directly into the genuine leather to create a lasting impression. Depending on the item and leather type, you may choose a classic Hot Stamp or add a Foil Hot Stamp for a pop of color.

Choose Your Finish

Classic Hot Stamp – No Foil
Sometimes referred to as a “burn,” this traditional personalization method presses your initials, name, monogram or other eligible design directly into the leather without adding foil or color. On natural leather, the stamping process can create a darker, tanned impression for a timeless tone-on-tone look.

On oiled leather, the personalization is debossed—or pressed into the leather—rather than tanned. Because of this, the finished personalization may be more subtle in appearance.

Foil Hot Stamp
Add a more noticeable finish to your personalization by choosing from our available foil colors at no additional charge. The foil is applied during the hot-stamping process, creating a colored impression on the leather.

Colored leather patches require a foil color, while oiled leather must receive a classic hot stamp without foil.

Personalization Styles

Depending on the Jon Hart item, patch size and available space, personalization may include:

Initials
Keep it classic with your initials stamped in order. This is a simple, timeless option that works especially well on smaller personalization patches.

Name or Text
Add a first name, last name, nickname or short text when space allows. Character limits vary by product and the size of its leather patch.

Traditional Monogram
A classic three-initial monogram using the first, middle and last name initials. Traditional monogram styling typically features the last-name initial prominently in the center, with the first-name initial to the left and middle-name initial to the right.

Not every personalization style is available on every Jon Hart item. The size and shape of the leather patch determine the number of characters and personalization options available.

Personalization Guidelines

Because every personalization is completed individually by hand, no two will be exactly alike.

Please note:

  • Natural leather works beautifully with classic hot stamping or foil.
  • Oiled leather must receive a classic hot stamp without foil. The impression is debossed into the leather and may have a more subtle appearance.
  • Colored leather patches must be personalized with a foil color.
  • Character limitations vary depending on the size and shape of the item's personalization area.
  • The availability of initials, text, traditional monograms, symbols and numbers may vary by product.
  • Sizing, spacing and placement are determined at the discretion of our personalization team based on the individual item, patch and personalization requested.
  • Because personalization is completed by hand, slight variations in sizing, spacing, placement and appearance are normal.
  • If we have any questions or encounter an issue with your personalization request, we will contact you before proceeding.

Please carefully review the spelling, initials and personalization details submitted with your order.

Personalized Jon Hart Returns

Once a Jon Hart item has been hot stamped, monogrammed or otherwise personalized, it becomes a custom item and is no longer eligible for return, exchange or refund.

Please double-check your personalization request before your item is customized.

Remonogramming

Some Jon Hart items may be eligible for remonogramming at the customer’s expense. However, remonogramming is not possible on every product due to the item's material or construction.

All remonogramming requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed. Any applicable remonogramming costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Non-Personalized Jon Hart Returns

Jon Hart merchandise that has not been personalized may be eligible for return in accordance with Buck & Doe’s standard Merchandise Return Policy.
